What jewelry are brides and bridesmaids wearing?

Coordinating Jewelry

Matching jewelry sets for the entire bridal party (not the bride, her look is still unique and needs to match her own dress). A lot of brides are choosing to give their bridesmaids coordinating jewelry as a gift. For example, most recently I had a bride give her nine bridesmaids a gorgeous pearl statement necklace that they would not only wear for the wedding, but also for long after. Giving your bridesmaids a timeless, quality piece of jewelry doesn't just make your girls look good, it makes you look good too!

Statement Necklaces

More and more brides are realizing that the right statement necklace actually complements their wedding dress. There is this common fear that brides have, that a necklace will be too much or take away from their dress, when really it does just the opposite. A necklace finishes the wedding day look! Without one, in my opinion, your neck looks bare, it looks like something is missing and you look unfinished.

Big Earrings

Big earrings paired with a necklace and bracelet or just a bracelet alone is a very common look for brides and bridesmaids. Big earrings are beautiful, but be careful, this earring style can be h.e.a.v.y! Double check that the weight isn't going to stretch your ear hole. Also, if you are picking out earrings for your bridesmaids, make sure their ears are pierced! I see it all the time, but can easily turn any of our designs into a clip-on, problem solved!

Wedding Jewelry Tip

A good time to pick out your wedding jewelry is 3-4 months before the big day. If you're wanting to check this task off your to-do list even earlier, just make sure you have finalized your dress. The neckline of your wedding dress plays a major role in what wedding accessories will look good so be sure you love your dress and aren't going to change your mind!
